I am so thankful for Kyla. Not only is she a beautiful senior in the class of 2013, she is also a very talented photographer. Check out her work here. I met Kyla 3 years ago at WPPI while hanging with her mom, a dear photographer friend of mine, Elise. Kyla instantly became someone special in my mind. A little bit shy but so passionate about the art of photography, at the time 15, I remember being so impressed that she knew what she wanted and knew what she loved at such a young age.
Recently Kyla and I got to hang out for a few days at the Delight Retreat, a photography conference for young girls who love pictures and Jesus. There I was a featured speaker and got to share a little bit about the journey God has placed me on as we pursue our dreams! At that retreat, we sealed the deal as Kyla and I entered into a new relationship and as I support her over the next year as her mentor! Kyla is so talented. I am already so proud of the amazing strides she has made in the last 3 years and look forward to watching her blossom as she goes after the things of God.
Kyla is graduating this Saturday and will be heading to Kona to be a part of WYWAM. I am so excited about her journey and count myself blessed to be a part of her life!
Congrats Kyla! I am so proud of you!
