Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Uncategorized

2015 has taught us so much and brought so much to be thankful for.  It was five years ago this month that we took a major leap of faith and Tash quit her job to pursue photography full time.   We never in a million years could have imaged that this dream we had could ever become reality.

We have seen God increase us in ways we never could have thought and through it all; you have stood by our sides.

We are so thankful for you.

A little bit of what we have been up to the last five years!

In 2010, we launched our full time business under “Latasha Haynes Photography,” and in 2013 we re-launched under the name “Ike and Tash Photography + Motion.”   That same year, we launched a boutique photography conference called “BLINK Conference” that has seen incredible success.  We are preparing for our fourth conference year, this year selling out all 2016 conference registration seats in just 39 minutes. Because of such high demand we were able to open up additional seats and expand the conference out and so we are excited about the growth!  (If you are a photographer reading this, we would LOVE to see you at BLINK 2016 in Palm Springs, CA – we have a few seats left 😉

We are passionate about building community and other photographers and bridging the gap in our industry for photographers to have valuable and quality education that will take their businesses to the next level.

We have also spent the last three years traveling the country teaching and speaking in the area of senior photography, helping photographers connect with the young people they serve, adding value to their senior representative and model programs and teaching them how to give back to the youth they serve.  You can check out one of the ways we choose to do that here locally, by hosting Sunday Dinners with our high school girls in the area.

Wisdom is three years old and is wise beyond her years.  Her favorite color is glitter and anything pink and purple.  She has personality for days, is exceptionally tall for her age, communicates like a master (she gets it from her mama) and is obsessed with anything “The Wiz.”

Our 20-year-old cousin Rachel continues to live with us and excel as she has been promoted to manager at her job!  We are so proud of her and all that she has accomplished the 2.5 years she has been with us!

and our newest additions, Sarah and Sarai’ah, our other cousins, have added a joy to our home we had no idea we were missing.

Tash has started a new movement with her sister Melinda around building community among women and girls and supporting one another instead of competing.  She sold “Her Success Is Not My Failure” shirts the last quarter of the year to spread the message and all the proceeds went to support GLAM Camp for Girls, a leadership and empowerment camp for girls.

and Ike continues to hold down the fort while keeping ALL of the women in his life sane!!

Our business continues to grow and thrive and we couldn’t be more thankful.

Thank you for standing behind us as we continue to figure out this life of entrepreneurship, chase after our dreams and use our business to honor and glorify God.

Every year, at this time, as Christmas cards come in, we are reminded by all of you who continue to sow into us, bless our business, pray special prayers and support and loved us both in person and afar, just how blessed we truly are.

We could never ever even begin to live to tell this story if it weren’t for YOU.

We are truly humbled and this Christmas, besides the birth of our Saviour, we celebrate and are SO thankful for YOU!

Twenty-sixteen brings so much new.  New mercies, new hopes, new dreams, new adventures and new purpose and we are happy we get to share that with you.
