As important as the bride and groom are, the details also play a huge role in the day. I am lucky enough to know three spectacular vendors who also participated in our bridal test shoot just to show what they can do.
Paula Pritchard of Paisley Petals based in Enumclaw, WA (www.paisleypetals.com) is an incredible florist! She is fantastic at putting together amazing bouquets and flower displays to tie your entire wedding day/event together. I love that Paula is inspired by different textures and knows how to incorporate those texture into bouquets, think cotton & cabbage, etc. I would co-sign Paula’s work to any bride looking for something unique to represent them. Jacqui Ziebell of Jacqui’s Cakes (www.jacquiscakes.com) is much like Paula, but in the cake world. Jacqui knows her cake and pays great attention to detail. I have had the opportunity to shoot 5 weddings featuring Jacqui’s Cakes, as well as commissioning her for my own party. Jacqui is so talented and has a total passion for cake design. She operates out of excellence and does everything she can to bring your vision to life. Don’t you hate when you see a wedding cake that is gorgeous and then you bite into and blah…. well, guess what??! Not Jacqui’s cakes!! Her fondant even tastes good! Last but not least, Dawnet Davis of A Piece of Cake Weddings and Events (www.apieceofcakeweddingsandevents.com). There is NO event that I would plan without the help of Dawnet. She is completely committed to party & event planning and plans events like no other person I know. She is thorough and does everything with excellence. I have seen time and time again, Dawnet take her brides breath away & make her grooms cry when they see her work for the first time! She has away of taking your vision for your day and exceeding it!
