Before I start this post, I have a disclaimer.
I have tried and tried to upload this wedding in chronological order several times today. They just will not go in order. We love this wedding and we love Daniel and Davy so much, we didn’t want something as cliche as order to keep us from sharing these images, so PLEASE do not judge as you look at them. They just have a mind of their own, kinda like our bride and groom, and want to be original, so alas they will be.
Davy is special to me personally. I mean all of our brides are, but Davy, well, she’s extra special.
She helped bring Wisdom into the world. Davy was interning for our Doula, Patti Ramos, when we were going into labor. I learned then about the calm and beautiful spirt that Davy carries. She was a very important part of making sure I was comfortable and that Wisdom arrived safely into this world.
Fast forward three years, when we found out that Davy was engaged, we were thrilled and so honored that she would choose us as her wedding photographers.
At her engagement session, we learned that she and Daniel had just met online, but were so in love. We shared that commonality, as Ike and I met on Myspace many years ago. She told us at her session (which you can see here) that when you know, you know and that she had no doubts.
If you can’t already tell, Davy is very connected with the earth and I love how she chose to show that throughout the details of her wedding day. Everything was done with so much heart and intention.
I love her very natural wedding and I love how quintessential Pacific Northwest it was.
Daniel and Davy, we love and adore you.
It was truly an honor getting to spend your wedding day with you!
