Isaiah and I are thrilled to introduce you to our 2012 LHP Senior Street Team!!!! Like many local photographers, we LOVE our high school seniors and wanted to create a rep program that was unique that benefitted us, but also was useful to our high school seniors.
We put out a call to every person we knew earlier this year, announcing our first EVER senior rep program and that we we were looking for the coolest, kindest, nicest, flyest JUNIORS from the class of 2012 to rep our business their senior year + in turn we would rep them…. well, ladies and gentleman, after 36 applications, and many many sleepless nights (on my part of course) we HAVE found them and we COULD NOT be prouder!
Each of our Street Team members received a complimentary session w/complimentary hair/make up and styling services w/LHP and a proof book and 50 business cards, along with participation in the BIG SHOOT or senior campaign shoot. For every book referral to LHP, young people have the opportunity to earn portions of their senior package, which varies from items such as disc of images, metal/canvas prints or full customized albums of their session. At the end of the year the street team member with the most referrals will receive a LHP Scholarship to be used towards post-secondary education. In addition to all of that, Street Team members will also have the opportunity to participate in community service projects, awareness events, as well as fun parties throughout the year, including a back to school event, as well as a graduation event- both hosted by LHP and other sponsors.

These young people represent every thing our branding stands for: FUN, energetic, BOLD, modern, fresh and excited about life and all that is a head of them.
Over the course of the coming months, you will meet each of them individually + get to know them a bit better, what it is that made them stand out to us and why they rep LHP so well. We hope to have them guest blog and share a bit about their high school experience and give you a window into who THEY ARE as they stand alongside LHP for the next 9 months.
To get better acquainted with one another, myself, Isaiah and our GLAM team, comprised of Kristal Locke + Melissa Shaffett on hair, Kandi Clark on styling, and Anna Groves, Isabel Boyd + Jamyrlyn Mallory on make-up, came together to create a senior campaign shoot with full hair, makeup and styling to introduce the street team to all of you, to prepare for our new SENIOR website, as well as show other seniors the diversity that is LHP. We spent the day laughing, joking, posing and smiling as we took over the streets of Tacoma. Below the results of a really amazing day. The images below will be used on our website, blog and promotional materials for the year until the 2013 Street Team selections.
We hope that when you look at the street team YOU see YOU, or someone like you, or your best friend, or your son or daughter and you come to understand that OUR brand is for people like YOU. All shapes, all sizes, all ethnicities, all faiths, all beliefs, all passions are represented below. These are YOUNG people who live and love and what all that life has to offer. We take pictures, but we build relationships and that’s what matters most to us! We hope that when you see these images you see that LHP is about more than pictures….. that we are about a EXPERIENCE and we take that very seriously!
