A couple of months ago, yes a couple of months, I know bad right, I had the opportunity to shoot a few headshots for local real estate agent, JR Nobles.  I have known JR for a few years and I know he takes his work very seriously.  We spent a few moments perfecting some looks […]

Meet my newest friend and FAVORITE designer, both locally and un-locally??! Michelle Williams is a designer here in Seattle, who attends the Art Insitute and she is so filthy when it comes to fashion. I am absolutely in awe of her and the real FUNNY part about all of it is that I almost missed […]

Raeshelle is one of my cousin Sarah’s best friends in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD and she called me back in December to book for February and has remained consistent.  Raeshelle is a twin with a fabolous mom who bought me chicken wings and red beans and rice from Popeyes when we were done shooting! I […]

This year Isaiah and I got to spend Valentine’s Day with his supervisor… wierd right??!  Actually it was a lot of fun.  Tywan and Tuua were celebrating their anniversary and wanted to do some pictures and they asked us.  So Isaiah and I went through downtown Tacoma armed with our cameras and made that happen.  […]

Nicole and I booked her family pictures in the fall of 2009 for the February of 2010! In fact, I think Nicole booked me before I had any real portfolio of work–on faith that I would create some lasting memories for her and her family…. little did she know that the day of her shoot […]

These girls are AMAZING!  They finish eachother sentences… they sound the same and they look the same, but they are so their own people.  These girls were soo full of energy and such a blast to be around. Friends of my cousin Mary, I was not only excited but THRILLED when we agreed to do […]

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I get to shoot my very first wedding on March 6th and I am so excited!! The victims: Katherine & BJ–not victims, just kidding, but I am ABSOLUTELY thrilled that they want to work with me and can’t wait to rock the house with awesome awesome pictures.  I predict that I will shoot thousands […]

her skin is flawless and perfect and she is SO fun!  Seriously…. I have great skin, but this girl!  WOW!  I have known Marvia since the days when we carried pom-pons for opposing teams, cheered at cheer camp in hot Ellensburg, WA every summer and screamed like family when we saw eachother in the mall.  […]

What happens when the thing you never thought would happen does? What happens when you unexpectedly get sick? What happens when someone you love falls ill or even worse dies? What happens when a natural disaster hits and destroys everything you've worked so hard to build? What happens when you become ill or paralyzed and are unable to run your business? What happens when you find yourself in a global pandemic and you're unable to work for months at a time? What are you going to do?

When we first started shooting, we couldn't afford many of the opportunities and workshops that were available for newbie photographers to learn and grow, so we really utilized the free communities online and locally to building relationships and to learn the trade. It was those years that shaped who we are as people in this industry and have helped us to value the journey.
